Family home evening in our house is always a blast! In fact this week my family and I are now doing a Book of Mormon Challenge.
We started out by listing all the blessings that will come and are promised if we read the Book of Mormon. Then we watched a few videos of past General Conference talks and read some of them. They were very good talks and I recommend looking at some of the talks about the Book of Mormon. Very, very good. Then we made a chart to help us keep track of what we've read. Then last but not least, we figured out how much time we would have to read it. Since we had already wanted to finish it by the end of Spring Break, we counted the days and it turned out to be 35. That means we really needed to get going! And if you were wondering, that also means 7 chapters a day. That blew me away a little bit. Anyways the boys got to work and immediately started reading. They are both at chapter 20. Can you guess what chapter I'm on............ If you guessed 4 you are right. And let's also have in mind that I thought that I would be ahead of the boys the entire time. I guess I have less time in my day than I thought.
