I know that it is a little late to blog about Girls Camp but I guess I can still blog about it right, after all it is still the Summer Break. But Girls Camp was still very fun, even though I was one of the people who had a hard time with all the friends there. (Sometimes they were hard to get along with.) But that doesn't matter anymore because I am still alive right, otherwise I would not be blogging now. Well anyways lets get on about one of the activities all the first years did with each other at Girls Camp.We did so many fun things I can't even list them all that is why I sortof wish I was in Girls Camp right this very second. My favorite thing that we did was the Cope Course. It was awsome!! So I am going to discribe during this blog.
There were 3 different courses in the Cope Cousre, the 1st was called "Ants on a Log". I think that we all had fun at that time. What "Ants on a Log" is is a log tied up off the ground and parallel to the ground. Then the rules of the 1st course are: 3 people have to be on the log at once or you start over, but only three at a time. When 1 person gets off the next person in line has to be on the log when the other steps off. Then the most important rule is that every one has to get across the log without any body falling of or jumping off so only 2 people are left on the log. That was one of the funnest courses I think.
Anyways the second course was the scaling wall. Now this was tricky but we all got over the top and back to the bottom of the wall. Well we first had to get the strongest up. The first up was Savannah. She is a millimeter taller than me but super, super strong. Then we had to pull everyone up and over with some help from the people at the top and the people at the bottom. The only people who could help at the bottom were the people who had not yet gone up and over the top of the wall. Then when we had 3 people at the top 1 had to come down because we could only have 3 at the top at 1 time. So we kept Savannah at the top until Amber Kiskowski (1 of my friends) got up and then she was up the entire rest of the time. When I was lifted up, Amber wouldn't let me hep at all. I was so mad at her!!!! She made me mad almost the entire rest of the day. Well anyway we got everyone up and over the scaling wall and moved on to the next course.
The last course was the rock climbing wall. This wasn't really like the the other ones because you didn't really get to work together. I mean there was lots of encouragement that had to be given but I wouldn't consider that really working together. All the rock climbing did was make our arms and legs shake. So this wasn't my favorite course. Well most of us got to the top and rang the bell but some of us 1st years didn't even get 2 feet of the ground but that is okay. This cousre wasn't my favorite but we all still had a lot of fun.
So this was one of the things everyone got to do at girls camp and it was a great way to remember my first year at Girls Camp.
GIRLS CAMP ROCKS!!!!
